Meshini trusted guide for tourism

Let’s take a stroll through Egypt, the land of the greatest civilization throughout history, specifically in the city of Luxor. The Karnak Temple Complex, commonly known as the Karnak Temple, is a collection of temples, buildings, and columns. This temple, through its construction and development stages, reflects the history and culture of ancient Egypt. It spans from the Middle Kingdom period and ends in the Ptolemaic era. With its 8 gates, each leading to a magnificent structure of 10 great buildings, Karnak stands as one of the most important tourist attractions in Egypt.

There is also the Avenue of the Sphinxes, known as the Path of the Gods’ Processions. It dates back to the 18th Dynasty of ancient Egypt during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut, originally used for celebrating the Opet Festival. Over the centuries, the road was buried under the ground, but it has since been rediscovered. The avenue consists of a stone-paved walkway with around 1,300 statues lining its sides, depicting full ram figures, ram heads on lion bodies, and human heads on lion bodies, each statue holding symbolic meaning. The Avenue of the Sphinxes connects some of the most important archaeological sites in Luxor. Its statues are carved from sandstone, and the road stretches from the Karnak Temple to the Luxor Temple, covering a length of 2,700 meters.
